Project Overview
Hangar One Avionics delivered two Bell 412EPX multi-mission helicopters to the San Bernardino County Sheriff, purpose-built to support observation, search and rescue, and firefighting operations. Each aircraft was configured with a fully integrated suite of advanced avionics, communications, and mission systems designed to enhance situational awareness, operational coordination, and in-flight safety across diverse mission profiles.
The build included upgraded transponder and traffic advisory systems, multi-band communication platforms, and real-time video, mapping, and tracking capabilities anchored by a nose-mounted MX-10 camera system. NVIS-compatible lighting, searchlight systems, and specialized rescue and firefighting equipment including a fire attack system, hover pump assembly, and fast rope provisions equip the aircraft for rapid response in critical environments. Complemented by structural airframe enhancements and mission-ready cabin configurations, these helicopters deliver the performance, reliability, and versatility required for demanding public safety operations.
