Project Overview
Hangar One Avionics partnered with the Alameda County Sheriff to transform a legacy Cessna U206G into a modern observation platform through a full de-mod and retrofit program. The aircraft was completely reconfigured with advanced avionics, upgraded communication systems, and integrated surveillance technology, extending its operational life while significantly enhancing mission capability and in-flight performance.
The build included a custom instrument panel paired with a full Garmin avionics suite featuring flight display systems, autopilot integration, and ADS-B compliance. A robust communication stack ensures seamless coordination across mission environments, while a high-definition MX-10 camera system, mapping technology, and onboard video displays deliver real-time aerial intelligence. Additional tracking capabilities further support law enforcement operations, positioning the aircraft as a reliable and effective asset for surveillance and public safety missions.
